300K ACP brevet — Dunnellon 300K (clockwise), 27 April 2024

Some notes on the ride:

— This is an ACP brevet that is being run coincident with the 600K. Both riders start at the same time, at the same place, and then follow the same route. Unlike the 600K riders, though, you’re done when you get back to the Dinner Bell.

— The route is a new one out of Dunnellon. overlaps substantially with the 400K route we’ve used twice (cutting off the northern end of that route).

—SAG on the route: Do not plan on it. Be prepared to support yourself throughout the duration of the ride. For certain, though, if you cannot complete the route for any reason, be prepared to arrange your own transportation back to the start/finish. There will be no sagging riders back to the start/finish.

— Important! You cannot “change your mind” about what ride you’re doing once the ride starts. Meaning, if you DNF the 600K at the 300K mark, you can’t get credit for the 300K.

–You must be registered for the ride and sign the waiver  “Ride-alongs” jeopardize not only the existence of our rides but all of American randonneuring. If you want to volunteer to support all riders, please contact me and we’re thankful for the help.
