We had 21 riders on 4 teams this year, with one rider DNFing but the rest of the team completing the event in good order. Waffler’s went from Paul’s house in St. Petersburg; Pirate Zombies, with Roger and Sally on a tandem, started in Dunnellon and wandered all over creation before hitting the beach and riding South; the Kool Aid Gang repeated their train-assisted trek from Savannah, while attired absolutely awesome team jerseys; and the Migrating Flèche, did the train thing from Saint Simons Island, GA. The finish was again at Jason’s Corner in New Smyrna Beach, where we had a great breakfast together.
