Some notes on the ride:
— The route is not yet determined. It will either be out of Tavares (an old route) or Dunnellon (a new one). It will be in the familiar 400/200 format (i.e., you’ll return to the start/finish. If it is Tavares, it will NOT include the infamous Route 555.
—SAG on the route: Do not plan on it. Be prepared to support yourself throughout the duration of the ride. For certain, though, if you cannot complete the route for any reason, be prepared to arrange your own transportation back to the start/finish. There will be no sagging riders back to the start/finish.
–You must be registered for the ride and sign the waiver “Ride-alongs” jeopardize not only the existence of our rides but all of American randonneuring. If you want to volunteer to support all riders, please contact me and we’re thankful for the help.
—Dinner at the overnight? Yes.
—Beverages? Of course.
