300K ACP Brevet — Tavares-Flagler Beach (11 June 2022)

Medals! Yes, the first 10 registered riders (who complete the brevet) get special finisher’s medals (honoring the 100th anniversary of the first ACP 300K ever held). 
Location: Winn-Dixie parking lot, 450 E Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL
Rider Check-in: 5:30-5:55am Saturday, immediately before the ride start
Cue Sheet: tentative, here (final will be posted no later than 6/9/22)
Bike/Reflective Gear Inspection: Required; during rider check-in.

Some notes on the ride:

— The route is Tavares-Flagler Beach. If it seems like this has been run every year lately, it’s because it’s just a great route. As we’ve done of late, you’ll be southbound along A1A, rather than pressed up against the encroaching dunes (and collapsing road).

— The ride start is in the supermarket parking lot. Please park well away from the stores as a courtesy to their customers.

— This is a completely no-frills ride. There will be no SAG or support of any kind on the event (or before or after).

— As noted above, the first 10 finishers will, however, get — free of charge! — a one-of-a-kind ACP 100th anniversary medal. This ride commemorates the centennial of the first-ever ACP 300K brevet. Other finishers (beyond the 10 medals that we have) will be able to purchase medals from the RUSA Store.

— As with all RUSA- and ACP-sanctioned brevets, current RUSA membership is required to participate. (This is a requirement of RUSA’s insurer.) Please check the status of your RUSA membership here, and if you need to join or renew, do it here.
